Who is Klarna?
Klarna is a Swedish payments provider that lets you buy now and pay later. It works with hundreds of thousands of retailers worldwide and is used by tens of millions of shoppers, taking full responsibility for handling your payment securely.
How does Pay in 30 days work?
Once your order is confirmed, Klarna emails you the payment details, usually within a couple of days. You then have 30 days to pay — plenty of time to receive and try your items first. There's no interest or added cost when you pay within the 30-day window.
You can settle up any time in the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk using a credit or debit card.
Am I eligible for Pay in 30 days?
You need to be at least 18 to use Klarna. Although it's offered widely, approval depends on your circumstances and each order is reviewed individually. Choosing Pay in 30 days won't affect your credit score.
How can I improve my chances of being accepted?
Make sure your full name and address are entered correctly and that you're shipping to your registered billing address. Klarna assesses each order on its own, so being approved before doesn't guarantee approval every time — and being declined once doesn't mean you'll be declined in future.
Will a credit search be made against me?
Klarna may carry out a soft search to confirm your eligibility. This is only visible to you and Klarna and has no impact on your credit score. Neither Klarna nor FULLYPAID runs a hard credit check that other lenders can see.
Why wasn't I offered Pay in 30 days?
Pay in 30 days isn't available on every order. Klarna decides automatically based on factors such as the order value, your order history and item availability. If it isn't offered, you can still check out as normal with a credit or debit card.
What are my payment options with Klarna?
You can pay straight away by credit or debit card at checkout, or choose Pay in 30 days and pay once you've received your order. Outstanding payments can be tracked and made any time in the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk.
What happens if I cancel or return my order?
Once we've accepted your cancellation or return, Klarna will cancel or refund the relevant payment. The update is reflected in the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk.
What happens if I don't pay for my order?
Payment is due 30 days after your order ships. Klarna will remind you before the due date with app notifications and emails, and will follow up if a payment is missed. Using Pay in 30 days won't affect your credit score, even if a payment is late.
I've been asked to go to the Klarna site is that correct?
Yes. If you chose Pay in 30 days, Klarna sends an email with a secure link to complete your payment by card. You can also view and pay everything in the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk.
What do I need to provide to pay with Klarna?
You'll need your name, address and email. Some orders may also ask for your mobile number or date of birth. Your payment reminders and statement links are sent by email, so it's important your details are correct.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Klarna processes all payments securely using up-to-date security standards. No card details are shared with or stored by FULLYPAID.
Can I pay before the due date?
Absolutely. As soon as you receive Klarna's email with your payment details, you can pay early by following the link or using the Klarna app.
Have you received my payment?
If you paid by card at checkout, your order is confirmed straight away. With Pay in 30 days, Klarna sends a confirmation to your email once paid. You can always check the status in the Klarna app or at klarna.com/uk.
What happens to my statement when I return goods?
Once we've received and confirmed your return, Klarna updates your statement. A partial return gives you a revised statement; a full return closes it. You can monitor this any time in the Klarna app.
I've received a statement but not my order yet.
You have 30 days to pay, so there's no need to pay immediately. If your due date is approaching and your order hasn't arrived, contact us to check on delivery. You can also ask Klarna to pause or extend the due date while you wait.
How long will my refund take?
Once we've registered your cancellation or return, Klarna processes the refund within around 5 business days.
How will I be refunded?
If you paid by card, the refund goes back to the same card. If you haven't yet paid your Klarna statement, the amount is deducted from it or the statement is cancelled entirely.
I haven't received my statement or payment email.
You can log in to the Klarna app or klarna.com/uk at any time to see all your orders and make payments, even without the email to hand.
